Hi everyone! Long time, no talk. Finals have been INSANE - but I'm halfway through! I've been knee-deep in research and empty diet coke cans for the past few days. So as a treat to myself, I thought I would take a break from writing what seems to be a never-ending paper on Thomas Aquinas and write this post!
It's no secret that I love nude lips. I tend to wear heavier eye makeup, so I like to balance it out with softer colors on my lips. I have a few products that I tend to reach for to get this look, depending on how much product I want. For classes, I usually end up with one of the glosses smooshed on my lips, but I'll bust out the lipsticks for fancier occasions. The lipsticks that I've been loving for nude lips are both from MAC, and they are Innocence Beware, and The Faerie Glen. These are pinkier nudes, so they help lighten the natural color of my lips, without looking concealer-lippy. A sort of in-between product is the Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee. I just finished up a tube of this, and am going to start one of my backups soon! I love the lip butters in general, but this is a great glossy-lipstick-i-don't-know-how-to-describe-it product.
For glosses, I have two main choices: Urban Decay in Midnight Cowboy, and NARS Turkish Delight. These both look great on their own, or over one of the other products. These are great to throw on for everyday, and both give you a nice, not scary, nude shade.

What products do you use to get that perfect shade of nude? I'm always in the market for new nudes (that sounds inappropriate. sorry)!
