April Favorites

Whew! I can't believe that I'm almost done with school! This year has flown by. By the time I write my May Favorites, I'll be home! I recently bought football tickets for next fall, and I'm starting to slowly pack up all my belongings in huge plastic bins. Sophomore year had it's ups and downs, but overall I had a blast!

Now that the sentimental moment is over (just wait until I have to sing for Baccalaureate mass in a few weeks!), let's get on to April favorites!

This month = high stress, so I didn't really venture out too far in the makeup department, but here are some of the products that I have been loving lately!

1) Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer* - I've said it before and I'll say it again . . .  this rocks! I pinky promise I'll do a review/comparison of this later, but for right now, you'll just have to be content with the fact that I use this almost every stinkin' day!

2) NARS Illuminator in Super Orgasm - On days when I'm going for the minimalist look (or at least that's what I tell myself I'm going for), I reach for this little guy. He's perfect for using as a blush/highlighter all-in-one, and he looks amazing on the eyes and cheeks!

3) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara - love me or hate me . . .cue Chamillionaire song:

I love this mascara. I've gone through countless tubes of this mascara since I started wearing makeup, and it's one of the best! I really like for day time - it really defines my lashes, and is easily removed by makeup remover at the end of the day. While this may not work for a fancy night out, this meets my needs and then some for day-to-day wear!

4) Clinique Redness Relief Foundation - This is my all-time favorite foundation at the moment. I have a few that I rotate, and I like them all. But I definitely think this one is the best of the best! It gives about medium coverage - so I bust this guy out on days when I need to look a little nicer!

5) Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - I am actually quite impressed with this concealer! I really like to use this yellow-based concealer everywhere: under eyes and over blemishes! it definitely needs to be set with a powder, but if that step is taken care of, then this concealer lasts all day!

6) Zoya Nail Polish in Avery - This is a great nude! I've been switching between this and Essie Sand Tropez. This is definitely a pinker nude than Sand Tropez, and I'm betting it would be a good dupe for the Topless and Barefoot by Essie. It almost is the exact color of my skin, which sounds weird but I really like it.

7) Maybelline Instant age Rewind Dark Circle Concealer - I think I've got the application of this product down. I've found that the best way for me is to pat the concealer in rather than swiping it on. Once applied, I can blend it in with my ring finger! This is a fairly pigmented concealer that works really well under the eye. I find that it doesn't get cake-y throughout the day, and it doesn't set in the fine lines around my eyes!

What have you been loving this month?

XO,
Kelly

* I did receive this product for free, but it doesn't affect my opinion of the product!

    1. No problem! I love posts like these, and I hope y'all do too! And I cannot rave enough about the foundation - I use it on days when I'm really red or if I have a bit of acne.
